It's supposed to be a form of flattery but I wonder if Warrens estate ( he popped his clogs a few years back) are getting a cut?

    Dennypoos..............righter of wrongs.

  • Russia, Pah!

    Oh there you are!

Well, it should be my readers and friends saying that as I've had an enforced lay off due to not being a well Bunny. Suffice it to say I'm improved now and hope to take 'Grumpy old git' to new levels.
Russia Pah! so what is this all about?

Suppose, for the sake of argument, there was an old super-power whose fortunes, once on the wane, now found itself in a position to be the school bully. Suppose this country had a stranglehold on resources that the western world needed and suppose this country was avaricious for both its ex states and money
I am of course talking here of 'Pipeline politics' and the Georgia situation in particular, for it seems that South Ossetia is but an excuse for Russia to rubbish Georgia's stability in the hope that oil and gas producers from Azerbaijan and other Caucusus states will divert their oil flow through Russia and thus provide a useful revenue and increase Russia's stranglehold on resources much needed.

So thats the 'Russia' bit of the title dealt with and now to 'Pah!'
Yep, the olympics give me a chance to 'Pah' the Russian federation for there was a time in the middle of the week when our Sailors and Rowers had more gold medals than the whole of Russia's teams, and this from a country with a hundred million less people. So Pah and Pah again, PAH.

Such a jingoistic attitude is not really the me of old and I can only put this down to prescription drugs.

This attitude of mine, if extrapolated would close all pipelines to this country such that we would have to burn our grannies for heat in the winter and run a scheme to render down couch potatoes and those in prison to use their fats for lighting etc.

Nice to be back in Bloggo land and now I must be off to buy a lottery ticket and help fund 2012.

Bugger me but Tim Brabbants has just won us another gold in the mens 1000m Kayak. Woo-Hoo.

    Dennypoos...........to be re-named Jingo-Den?
