Finally got round to reading my 'Times online' entertainment section and an interviewer lets it be known that Dame Helen Mirren is of Russian parentage. Gosh!
A quick visit to wiki tells me she was born:
Ilyena Vasilievna Mironov
So the 'Queen' is a Ruskie, next I'll be finding out that the real Queen's a Kraut.
