The library, Pheasants and Celeriac.

So, up to the standard of my blog titles, but it does tell all.
Just finished reading Robert Harris 'Ghost', a good page turner, and had to return the book as someone had reserved it.
As luck would have it the local Sainsburys is opposite the library and I always have a nose round to see what bargains are to be had.
Today's bargain is whole Pheasants. They must have over ordered as they had truckloads reduced in price from £4.99 to £2.00. Lets face it at less than the price of a pint, (not as though I touch the devils piss), it just had to be done.Returning to 'Dennypoos Acres' I dropped in at the local Lidl and they had Celeriac for 39p.
I've looked up some recipes on t'internet and will give it a go for supper tonight.
